Desktop application for designing, creating and analyzing business models.
Today, SmartOrg announced the release of Decision Advisor II, a desktop application that brings transparency to decisions about the future: forecasts, new products, processes, and other business opportunities. The system produces a clear picture of the most important technical and commercial factors that drive value and where to best allocate resources to minimize downside risk and drive toward upside value. This new version of Decision Advisor includes an enhanced user interface and process flows to make it even easier to use.
Boeing, Hewlett Packard and others use Decision Advisor to facilitate rapid business modeling and to improve decision-making productivity. "If only we knew what we know." These words from Lew Platt, former CEO of Hewlett-Packard, were often invoked in the late 1990s as a sort of rallying cry for knowledge management.
You can't know the unknown, but technology can organize what is known and point to the most likely path to success. To choose and prioritize a number of possible adjacent market plays for projection technology, HP relied on Decision Advisor software from SmartOrg. The result was the launch of a line of jumbo-sized rear-projection TVs in 2004.
