SMARTORG APPOINTS STEINFELD AS DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING

MENLO PARK, CA, 2004 – SmartOrg Inc. announced today the appointment of Grant Steinfeld as Director of Software Engineering.

Prior to joining SmartOrg, Mr. Steinfeld was a co-founder and chief architect of AgentIdea Consulting, technical manager of the Jefferies-Helfant Group, and vice president, Futures and Options Technology for Prudential Financial.

Mr. Steinfeld brings an extensive background in architecture and software development to the SmartOrg software engineering team, including development of trading systems for equities, options and risk analysis for high profile Wall Street firms. He founded AgentIdea in 1999, a NYC-based consulting firm that formulated best practices and frameworks that enable rapid application development of robust enterprise systems.

He holds a BSc with honors from the University of Cape Town. “We are pleased to welcome Grant to our team,” said David Matheson, president and CEO. “He brings deep understanding of enterprise software as we expand portfolio evaluation and management solutions capabilities.”
